Please add Jim Nash to the waiting list (he's a FV driver so should be right at home in karts ;-)
Thanks!

I'm going to have to be a SUB only this year....so you can open up a regular spot

Please move me to the waiting list. If we split into two leagues, and the other is a week night, I'm in for that. But I'd like to give up this Sunday league spot. Thanks.

Alot of little skinny folks signed up just want to make sure Prokart has enough weight for all of them:evil:

Maybe Andres and Jocelin can both ride in one kart... they can do a Mad Max thing and kick other drivers in the head as they drive past. Rollergirls meets ProKart.

Maybe I should pay more attention, I was waiting for a weekday evening group and didn't notice I was signed up for the Sunday league...
So, now I've noticed, but Sunday's just don't work well for me, so I need to bow out of the Sunday league.
Keep me in mind for a weekday evening league, and I should be up for a sub or 2...

Do they really have room for 24 drivers in a single league now?

Hi Steve,
Another friend, Rick Wohlers, is interested in joining. It would work better for him if he could pay each week - is that OK, or does he need to pay all up-front?
Thanks,
- Josh

How does that work for bumping, still only the LCQ and the main? The way I understand it now is there will be people who don't even make it into the LCQ?

I was there on Saturday and talked to Tim. The way it's going to work the first week is that everyone will first "qualify" (I think looking for your fastest time, not position). This will happen in the order you arrive at the facility.
Then, based on qualifying times, people will be divided into 3 heats.
If you don't get one of the "go to the final race" spots (top 2 or 3, depending on how many people he's going to run in the final heat) in your heat race, you'll get another chance in the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) race. Actually, given the # of people there will probably be 2 LCQs. But Matt, I don't remember if the math worked-out so that everybody gets a chance in an LCQ or not.
The winner of the (each?) LCQ, along with all of the people in "advance" spots in Heats 1-3 are all then in the final race.

The way I remember from last year is it was limited to 18 people. Two heats of 9. The top four of each heat got into the main, making up for 8 spots. The last two spots were decided by the top 2 of 10 in the LCQ. There was always a kart with cold tires that no one wanted in the LCQ because it sat between the second heat and the LCQ.

With 24 people, we're looking at 3 heats of 8 this year...

So like Matt said...perhaps no LCQ. Just 3 heats with top 3 qualifying for the final. hmmm.
For Charles
LCQ = last chance qualifier.

One nice thing about the Savage location, just down the street about 2 blocks West is a Amoco station... $1.99 last night... you may wanna fill up after/before the "event" on Sunday. :D

No, like I said, I spoke to TIM and as of last weekend he IS planning to do 1 if not 2 LCQs to round-out the field for the final race...

I can't seem to find my face shield for my close faced helmet at the moment. Does anyone have a spare shield I can borrow tomorrow or a helmet?

I'm driving up from New Prague so I was hoping someone in the league could bring one. Thanks for the offer though, Phil! It's not a big deal, I can just rent a helmet from Prokart.
Okay, Jocelin is done with karting. She prefers power steering... :p
Anyone want to take over her spot for the remaining 5 sessions? Otherwise we can do individual date substitutions. Post here or PM me.
